Aside from his committee duties, Doug runs his own painting and decorator business in Oldmeldrum.
The Webster family also own and manage Lochter Activity Centre on the outskirts of Oldmeldrum.
Denise’s role at Aberdeenshire Council ensures she has all the right attributes to enable her to support her brother Gordon with a portion of the various secretarial and organisational duties. As an ex Young Farmer, Denise is ‘weel aquant’ with the Doric tongue and isn’t frightened to muck in and get her hands dirty with some of the more physical work on Sports day.
Chris and his wife, Julie live on the outskirts of Oldmeldrum with their 2 teenage children and small menagerie of pets including 3 ponies, 3 dogs, 2 sheep and a cat (no goldfish!).
Chris works as an engineer in the oil and gas industry and is a football coach for one of the Colony Park football teams which his son plays in.
On sports day, Chris is responsible for managing the trade stand area and for driving the celebrity opener into the main arena in the famous 1949 Black Austin Hire Car that was previously owned by his late father, Jim.
